And the Thunderbolt was a corruption of an iconic 1964 Fairlane lightweight AF/X moniker. Ford seems to have some memory problems at times.
Thats right, the 1964 Thunderbolt is one of my all time favorite classics.

The only reason the 'future' is electric automobiles is that collectivist globalists have deemed it necessary to control your movement and anchor you to urban shitholes so they can further enslave you.

Otherwise the electric car has been around longer than the ICE and failed to win in the open marketplace because it is an inferior method of propulsion.

But good luck with your 'future', maybe Premier Xiden will allow to you kiss the liver spot on his shriveled up ****.

This.

Ford Is Reviving the "Lightning" Name for an All-Electric F-150

Ford's electric pickup truck will be the fastest, most powerful F-150 yet, and a convincing rumor says it will bring the return of the Lightning name.

Meh, I'm completely OK with it. If this part is true...
Ford's electric pickup truck will be the fastest, most powerful F-150 yet
Then an electric Lightning will be continuing the performance trend and spirit of the concept.

The bloated 4 door electric crossover SUV...? Ain't never gonna be a Mustang in my book.

The Mach E is selling like hotcakes and the GT version out accelerates the Coyote coupe GT.....

Friend of mine is trying to buy one and nobody has them without a long wait.

At first I was all against the "watering down" of the brand, but now I'm excited to take a ride in the Mach E. I can't imagine Ford wouldn't make an electric Lightning and it not outperform the original by a huge margin.

Maybe your friend is just retarded? That would explain his want of the Mach-e. Autotrader has almost 2000 of them for sale.

I had to edit this because I was just curious. There are more Cuck-e's available than Mustang GT's. That's sad.

So long as they don't Mach E it, I'll be excited.

Unfortunately, the electric car era is coming, so I'm behind any manufactures that are trying to have 'performance' oriented lines.

Hopefully 'fastest' means fast, and not low 13s or something lame. If it can't outrun a tune only single cab Coyote, then its a flop.
I would hope that the Mach-E GT battery pack (and Performance option) will make it to the Lightning. Assuming the Lightning-E is more than a rumor.

I’m in the RC industry and the same thing happened to us. Although there is still Nitro cars most everything has gone electric. Including planes and boats.
