I have speedhut gauges in the pillar. I have a boost gauge and an intercooler coolant tank gauge to keep an eye on the Killer Chiller temps and aftermarket pump.

Personally, I think when you’re at WOT, you can’t possibly monitor the gauges like you should, so I got rid of my Aeroforces and went with an Android radio with Torque Pro running and it gives me a verbal warning at whatever thresholds I set them at..and the gauge setup on the screen looks bad ass.

I need to set my aeroforce up to alarm for oil pressure and/or coolant temp, at wot I’m just keeping an eye on the tach and for the j&s gauge to light up (if it does I just get out of it because it’s pulling timing anyway)

But you’re still having to keep an eye out for a light. With the torque program, it actually audibly alarms you.

I think it depends on where you have the gauge. My pillar gauges are in my peripheral so a flashing red light catches my attention pretty quick. Kinda like when I get the regen warning in my truck. I can be watching the road, but when the message pops up on the dash it makes me glance down.

Interesting. Do you have any pictures of the gauge setup?

Also, who makes the best triple gauge pod for the A-Pillar for these cars? I have a convertible 03, if that makes a difference
