Cost + 25% is still significantly cheaper than manufacturing here. Unions, Taxes, red tape, Karens, EPA, etc. It kills any hope for most companies.
Also, quality is better over there now than it is here. Warranty/defectives would've gone up. Which means even more money.
My point stands. No President in the past two decades has really done anything of significance in rebooting American Manufacturing. It's coming back, but not everything can or will. It's tone deaf to think all goods sold in America can be made in America at a price point Americans want to spend.
You’re right. Where I live, there are signs everywhere for places trying to hire. There are very good paying jobs that people have no interest in because they’re getting paid to sit on their butts and do nothing. The government is handing out stimulus checks and several people I talk to don’t need that money. You drive around my little town and see all the signs for hiring and they’re posting the amount they will pay. It blows me away. It explains the cost of some of these goods.
The mentality of people has changed, which drives up cost and drives up employee pay. I see people wanting more money because they can push a broom better than the next guy and they’ll quit and go work elsewhere. Employers are having to pay more money, be more flexible and outsource to others who can’t even keep up with their own demand just to get the product out the door. All of this drives up cost. Other countries who pay crap and don’t just hand out money like it’s candy can pay those lower wages because their people don’t get the same kind of government handouts.
Before you know it, fast food will be manufactured in China because we just can’t produce it at a cost effective price.
I love Capitalism, but I don’t love seeing the pan handler down the road holding his sign saying he is out of a job with 3 kids....standing under a help wanted sign, and a road between another help wanted sign.

Everyone else is a lazy piece of shit, drug addict or both. 2 arms, 2 legs and breathing? You can find a job. They simply do NOT want to work or have any responsibility. Im personally insulted to see their lazy shit bag asses have the audacity to ask me for money. **** Them.

Well, when your Democrat masters tell you you must wear a mask or you'll die, they'll put that non medical mask on all day if they are told to. I just lol.I was in my local neighborhood Walmart today.
99.9 percent of people didn’t have masks.. the people that did had one thing in common.. which was really weird to me.
I’ll let you guess what the one thing was.. want hints ?
had nothing to do age.... had nothing to do with male or female...

In b4 SDNope..still here..just don't give a rats ass about your opinions. I'm not a "liberal" btw..I voted for Bush and voted for Rubio in the 16 primary. I don't do straight party voting..I vote for some on the right and some on the left, just depends on what they are running for.
