The 03-04 cobra will always have a special place in my heart. Eventually, i want to get back into one but a coupe this time in the next couple years when the wife and I get a bigger garage. Good luck to me. Lmao. 72k is absurd.

Yeah. I think this may be an anomaly. But how’s that saying go “a car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it”. Something like that. Lol

I can see it.

Imagine being an 18 year old kid when this car came out in 2003. You wanted one but you could not afford it at the time. Well, we're now out 18 years and he's had a very successful career. Now he has the opportunity to buy the same "new" car as the one he wanted in 2003. You would snatch this car up in a heartbeat at 70k. 70k is nothing out of the ordinary for a special/unique car these days.

It's shows that (A) there's big money out there to be spent, and (B) there are people who will bid the moon if they must have a specific vehicle.

Well there goes my hope for ever getting back into a terminator. I’m sure all others will increase prices because of this.

I wouldn't be surprised if the bids on it were to inflate the value of cobras up. Someone must be sitting on a bunch of low mileage cobras.

Yeah congrats on spending almost $100,000 on a useless paper weight, as it'll probably take that much to get it back to where you can just start it without puking all it's fluids, oils, and lubricants out as the seals and gaskets have deteriorated to dust.
That won't actually happen with a car from 2004...
