FCA has killed it with marketing and their build quality especially with interiors of their vehicles has gotten significantly better. I sit in various brands all day long and from the top three FCA or stalantis or what ever it is now is definitely better quality vs equivalent Ford offerings which in my opinion lead the pack for many years.

On a recent business trip, I got a Camaro SS rental. The chassis, drivetrain, performance was all great, but the tiny windows and huge blindspots are deal breakers for many. I have no idea how GM took one of the best driver's cars out there and utter failed miserably in all the other categories.

Dodge has a winner with the Challenger and Charger. I think they are smart enough to realize not to mess with success. They just need to add paint, wheel packages and incremental tech upgrades...and people will still buy them. Dodge's marketing team deserves monster raises, they've helped keep the interest in the old platform.

From the Dodge brochure, I bet every other picture has rubber being burned. The Ford advertising strategy for Mustang never made sense, unless you just didn't want to sell more for CAFE reasons, which I suppose is likely.

If Ford stopped being stupid and made a 4dr sedan with the Coyote or GT500 engines in it, they would be able to add that to their "muscle car" sales figures like Dodge does with the Charger and Challenger.
Put a Falcon badge on it and make it look sporty and I’ll buy it in a heart beat. I’m happy the Mustang is on top again but where I live I see challenger’s everywhere like I used to see Mustangs during their SN-95 generation.
