Funny Larry Bird stories

I always enjoyed watching Bird make people look stupid on the court in the 80s...dude saw the court waaay better than anyone...at the time however i didnt know how much funny shit he talked lol

He would.hjrt some feelings if he were in his prime today like the 80s

I love these little detailed stories retold by those who lived it. Loved the Jordan series, love all the ESPN 30 for 30 stuff...even on sports i don’t particularly like.

People used to be real actual badasses

Bird is one of my favorite players of all time and when ever my tell ppl my top 5 all time starting line up they give me shit for picking him over lebron at the small forward. His trash talking was legendary

That video was great! Larry Bird was always one of my favs. After watching that video, he bumped up a few notches. Most of those interviews were hilarious. He earned the respect of all of the NBA greats from his day forward.

Bird was the biggest sh** talker in the NBA. But he could back it up. The dude played left handed in a game once just because.

I was always a Bird fan. Grew up in MA so it was unavoidable. I remember.my friend.went to his retirement at the Garden and I was soooo jealous.
Bird could ball, and it he didn't have a vagina like these players do today.

Bird was right handed, and shot the ball in a NBA game left handed for a whole half.
Not something very many people can do.

BTW, I am a avid basketball player and coach. Been playing basketball 40 plus years.
