Well, its been quite some time since I've last posted. Thought I'd drop in and say hello and show off my Mom's new Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. Literally couldn't have picked a wordier name if they tried!

To sum it up, it feels like your driving a 797hp couch!

Car is amazing and over-the-top but cannot put the power down unless you're doing a 100 roll, LOLZ.

Nice work on the video, Kevin. Nice to hear a first hand review on the Charger Hellcat Redeye. That's a beast. So I assume your mom loves it? All 797hp?

Great video! I'll check out some of the other videos on your channel.

What's the cabin temperatures like in your Terminator with AC activated on a warm day? My Terminator can get sweaty on a hot day to the point where I am considering taking a towel along so I don't sweat all over the seat. It does a great job to cool the IC fluids though. I wonder if I should replace the AC coolant?

Forgot to add those wheels look sick! I bet that car is a blast to drive while still providing creature comforts. i would love to drive that down to Florida. The gas bill not so much.

I didn't think AC refrigerant went bad? It's either fully charged or not, so I guess it could be low.

I agree that there is probably a leak in the system. You should NOT be sweating with the A/C on, even on a really hot day. I remember back when I had my '03 Cobra driving frequently in the summer with temps consistently in the 90s with humidity, and I was never uncomfortable, inside temperature wise. So definitely get your A/C system checked for a leak.

Thanks for the video, a Charger HC is till on my "Dad-mobile" list.

*Slight OT*

Always a good idea to check the pressures on your AC system if you think you are having issues, I rent a set of gauges from Autozone when I need to check things out on any of our cars.

For all the cabin temp/KC talk, I monitored my temps the last few years both with/without the KC online. I had most of my AC system replaced several years back and currently am running EnviroSafe es12A. I found that vent temps rose a few degrees with the KC online while driving on the highway, this was negligible while moving as it went from ~mid 40's (KC offline) to ~upper 40's (KC online). On the highway everything is cool and comfortable with or without the KC.

The real issue I have is that when in stop and go traffic the AC cant get enough airflow through the condenser (new, clean) with the radiator fan (running on high) to keep the cabin temps down and it heats up pretty quick. This happens with or without the KC online, maybe I have issues with my system but my pressures always checked out so I just chalk it up to my Cobra needing good airflow to keep the cabin cool. Also when my AC is running the AIT1 temps are >15 degrees hotter than without so Im sure that doesnt help either.

Awesome... especially since your mom got it. I definitely wouldn't mind one of those for a daily.
