does anyone have a gen2r on their 13/14 gt500. if so do you have a direct comparison between the stock trinity and the gen2r?

Probably going to be worth an extra 30 to 40whp if tuned correctly. The inlet on the Gen2R is huge compared to the Trinity TVS.

Agreed with above.
i replaced a ported/welded Trinity with a mildly ported (TB plenum matching) VMP Gen2R.
I think I made one of the highest Gen2R dyno runs with 965rwhp SAE Dynojet. It still was undersized with a falling boost curve but tons of fun.
I’ll still stay with the current 3R :)

yea i have a stock bottom end and i was going to run it on a 2.4 upper and stock lower. full exhaust, e85, vmp twin 67, and a jlt 127.... was hoping to have it fall in the 800 range or so. Once i build the motor and do cams ect ill move up to a larger blower. I'm just hoping that e85 will let it live long enough before i get the short block built lol

It was proven early on the 2.3 TVS blower hierarchy:
Gen 2R best, Trinity close second then Gen 2 followed by Roush/Ford Racing versions.
Most ‘13-14 guys wanting more than their stock blower will either port the stocker or upgrade to a larger blower.
Your unported stock blower is capable of mid 9s on a street strip GT500

If you can find a Gen2R your doing good.
3R...when you mention words like, E85 and built motor

One member in FL was netting 760rwhp on a 2R, FBO car

I have one it is in route to my house at this moment. I dont need exsessive amount of power if I can make 775 with headers, 2.4 upper, twin 67, e85, and a jlt 127 id be more than happy. ill build the motor as money and time allows. Sourcing a block and having jdm build the motor will be the route taken.
