I need to do coils in my 04 terminator, it seems to be really bucking and missing at higher RPMs when you get into it. My question is will any 4.6 Ford coil work in these motors I noticed some have an angle to the rubber boot and Some Are straight? And while I’m asking the question does anybody else have any idea what this may be I did do the plugs with the NGK plugs and they all looked fine none were to clean and none were too dirty

4Vs are specific and also only buy Ford (Lots of rumors of knock-offs from Amazon too) but generally after market ones are crap. I'd start by logging voltage and see if you're just dropping voltage up top. Pretty common to have alternator issues.

FWIW, the angled ones are generally for the 2V engines, and the straight ones are for the 4Vs. They also have different polarity.

What gap and heat range did you run? Although you'd have to run something way out of the box to have an issue.
