Got a fresh pair of TQs ordered for the old girl. Also threw the Hilton high boost overlay in while I was at Lethal. One of these days I'll swap out shifters and install the new catch can. Speaking of, while the shifter's off, is there an easy way to gauge if the trans fluid level is okay?

You can't see anything from the top, you have to get under the car and remove the fill plug on the side of the trans.

I should have some fluid that's "splashed" up onto the bottom of the shifter though, right? Meaning, if the shifter is bone dry, she could be low. Basing this theory off the MGW install video I saw years ago.

Wasn't happy with my backup set of VC's I had power coated, so pulled the ones off the car to drop off for a different color. Another 2 week wait..... going to look sick when they are done. Replaced the leaking solenoid too. Now I need to order rebuild kits for the calipers, cant have non matching calipers. Need to strip and powder coat those now.

I wouldn’t base anything off of that.

Just pull the plug.

But if you were ever full and aren’t leaking, it’s still full.

Took it out for a grocery run to stater brothers, grabbed some pics really quick while I was at it.

^I wanted to do the same, but my braud insists on taking the dog almost every time we go and I absolutely refuse to let her in my Cobra. Waste of a nice day, dammit.

Today I drained out the old 91 fuel from winter storage and put some fresh E70 in. I also put on a griptec 2.6 pulley.

Took her for a quick spin (first time since last October) roads not clean enough for my liking.

And first time at the new shop!

Thoughts on the new pulley? still hold boost?
I didn't get on it too much. Only up to maybe 4k rpms but it was nearly at 21 psi. That's where it should be.

I'll test it more once this tank of fuel is gone, more than likely didn't get all of the 91 fuel out.
