I usually share my setups with the group so figured why not share this one too? I updated pretty much everything back in November when I was finally able to get my hands on everything at MSRP (outsiders of the gaming/PC world, prices are ridiculous right now - if you can even find stuff). Now that's a serious gaming rig. Nice work! I'm sure it was costly due to the prime components, but to buy a rig like this would rock your wallet.

Damn nice setup, I'm jealous. If stock/prices ever return from the moon I'll be upgrading to a similar setup!

My son just built a rig (even has similar lighting to yours) and the price is ridiculous. Can't even imagine what you spent.

The last time I built a PC, I think I spent a grand, and that was a lot at the time.

Move on, nothing to see here.

I've been meaning to build one, but now I'm just going to wait until I get my hands on a PS5 and build it off of that. I've been watching a lot of SuperGT's Gran Turismo Sport videos lately and it really gives me the itch to build a setup. I'll build a PC at some point but for now I'll stick with console.

Mine is super similar. Same Fanatec stuff as well. I did swap out my inverted pedals for the other ones though, as they were more comfortable.

I need to dust it off!

Thanks! Yeah, between Covid and Bitcoin/Ethereum miners, PC stuff is hard to even find in stock and if you can it's literally 2-3x the MSRP.

I miss the days of a grand buying you the best of the best. I usually update yearly to the newest and best stuff, but I'll probably skip the next generation.

Bringing back some memories! I haven't touched a GT title since GT4! I wonder how they're holding up these days. But yeah, once you move to PC, give iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione a look.

LOL!

The regular V3 pedals are definitely more comfortable, but man I love Fanatec stuff. You should post up yours!

Dude, sick! I seriously considered a P1X, but it came down to what was quickest to ship and receive for me. The P1X is definitely one of the best rigs available, though.

Oh yeah, I'm familiar with those games too. I have Assetto Corsa and that game is badass but it has to be played with a wheel so I hit a wall trying to use a controller. Watching SuperGT race and his other videos, it definitely looks like GT Sport is still a really competitive game but they are ready for the new installment. I'm not as good at racing cars as I am with motorcycles as I have been playing Ride 4 since it came out and I love the physics of that game. If you haven't played it yet, Ride 4 is like the Forza or GT of motorcycle games and the physics set to Realistic feels insane and is a ton of fun.

Oh yeah, I play the Ride series, MotoGP and Isle of Man. :D

Yeah! I thought about buying Isle of Man too but I have been content with Ride 4. The way they have worked out the physics in this game makes it so much fun. You find just that right bike, like the Desmosedici or one of the MVs and they are just perfectly balanced and can be thrown around without losing control.
