hate to be that guy but panzers used petrol/gasoline ....during ww2 gasoline engines were the most reliable at the time and that is what mattered most.

I think ur underestimating how big VW is and how many assets the company has. They have $500 BILLION in assets.

Nothing will flop when u have that kind of capitol to invest in ur company and the fact is I see more VW's on the road than I do ANY other car!

For every Tesla I see on the road I see 20 other VW's so without a doubt VW will be a threat to any car manufacture as they have been for the last 50 years now.

VW won't be a threat to Tesla until they can figure out how to sell cars to the avg buyer. From purchase, to integration, to features, and down to the culture, Tesla has VW beat on the EV side. It's why the whole "voltswagen" thing is going to flop. It's tone deaf

They're absolutely a behemoth. But I think you're underestimating EV market buyers

They are looking for a phone that's a car. Tesla does that, very well.

VW will build a car, that's electric, with some tech features.

Not the same thing in the slightest. What will happen is VW will pickup the folks that are less inclined to purchase a Tesla, and more inclined to just want a regular replacement car that happens to be all electric. The key will be how VW handles chargers, the cost of the chargers for home, and general roll out

Typically, you're a moron. But this is a very insightful observation.

You expanded that to all of WW2 which would include the allies. German tank engines where not particularly reliable when compared to the allies (Americans and Russians) and the Russian diesels would have been the most reliable on the battlefield.

Russians also used a compressed air starting systems to insure easy cold starts.

I was really referring to the Germans. They fielded some of the best armor, but far too complex to mass produce, maintain in theatre... they would have been better served mass producing panthers and up gunned panzer IV’s, instead of the monstrous Tiger, King Tiger... Russia got it right with mass producing the T34, good enough tank, easy to build and operate by the peasants they put in them. Fuel was also a big problem for Germany...

Word on the street has it that had the French actually counter attacked the blitzkrieg en masse, Germany didnt have enough fuel to sustain a full-on slugfest. The meth'ed up Panzer and Waffen SS tanker crew's insane initial push disoriented French comms enough that it proved to be the decisive factor in forcing a general retreat.

Enought time for Germany to seize resources and reinforce their advance units. In a nut shell of course

The French actually had marginally better tanks at the time of the Blitzkrieg too, but antiquated tactics kept them from effectively countering the Blitzkrieg.

LOL they put amphetamines in chocolate bars!

Voltswagon. Sounds like something a hippie dippy 20 something would buy to impress his husband.
