Nothing fancy here, a 2016 trek 7.3 for rail trail riding and a Trek domane alr3 for the road.

I tried some pursuit bars on one of my single speeds for a while. I could not get used to them. I ended up crashing when I came up to an unpaved detour on the bike path. I put some traditional drops on it after that. I can't imagine riding a tri-bike, it looks super fast and scary. haha

We looked at e-Bikes last summer and decided to instead go with cruisers. However, my wife is more and more wanted to switch to electric so maybe we'll consider it again this summer. There are quite a few e-Bike options out there.

For me lifting weights and bodybuilding is my big thing but I bought my first bike since I was a kid. A beach cruiser for Florida.
Biking won’t be a big thing for me just want to go out and do leisurely cruises and look at sloots. Since Florida is all flat that’s the bike I wanted. No gears. No brakes.

I got lucky and called a bike shop in Naples and they had exactly what I wanted in a tall frame. An Electra cruiser 1 in matte black. Very cheap. Only paid $329 for it.

There was definitely a learning curve. It’s only as fast as me- which isn’t too fast at all. I typically cruise around 20 mph. Definitely much faster people out there. The bars took a few rides to get used to but now I love them and they are much faster. I also installed a water system between them so I don’t have to untuck to hydrate.

No mountain bike here, but I do have a 2009 Haro Freestyler Reissue in the garage.
Not my photo.

How is this not a picture of you rolling down the street doing a Christ the Redeemer pose on that frame? Haha
I had a GT Vertigo back in the day and that always impressed the kids in the neighborhood.

This was my Haro Mirra 540 my buddy painted for me. Rasta theme, pot leaf grips and 311 stickers laid under the clear coat.

LOL
Bad ass!

I was always the "wanna be" freestyler. Did the very simple tricks, but that's it.
I wish I had more money and space, I would love to buy some old school bikes. My favorites are the CW Racing freestyle bikes, the Skyway freestyle bikes and the of course, the Haro freestyle bikes. SOme of them go for some serious coin too. My favorite out of them all is the '85/'86 CW Racing freestyle bikes. NASTY!!!

I saw they made a reissue of the Mirra with a 21" top tube, I'd love one of those the short frame on the Mirra was always an issue for me.

That's how we did it back in the day. I imagine it still works that way. Reminds me of the skid mark contests we used to have in the streets when I was a kid.
I haven’t really ridden a bike since the 80’s. Now riding a bike up here in the streets is suicide. On the cape they’ve got tons of trails and paths but I never wanted to do it.

I hadn't ridden in over 10 years till a few years ago when I rode my Dad's bike down in Florida. Needless to say my skills were lacking. Balance was a bit off and I had trouble doing maneuvers that used to be a snap. Things like looking behind you before switching over to the opposite side of the road. I would turn my head back to forward and would get disoriented for a moment or two.

Where are your parents in Florida?
