Still running stock rotors, looking to upgrade with slotted rotors.

Looking for recommendations (keeping stock calipers), with our really breaking the bank.

Thanks!

For Top of the line i 100% agree.

I went with DBA T3 4000 Fronts and rear 14in Bear EradiSpeed 2pc with Hawk 5.0 pads on all 4 corners. No track use on them so cant comment on that. But much better than stock on the street and better grab than the Hawk HPS on the stock rotors.

I would seriously look into the Big Brake upgrade kit (Ford Performance 6 Piston Brembo) and see if you can find the Brembo 6 piston calipers used somewhere. The full complete kit is $2K but you can piece meal it much cheaper with used front calipers. The rear calipers stay the same and only get angled differently for the larger rotor with a bracket which can be done in two ways - either by removing axle and changing the brace or by buying an add on adapter that makes it an easy bolt-on upgrade. Then you just need the new larger rotors and pads (stock or aftermarket) that the 2013/14 Shelbys would use. Increases both rotors by an inch and provides added braking power. BUT.... you need 19 or 20 inch rims to clear the larger calipers. If you still have your stock 18 inch rims this is probably a no go. 2010 and up SVT 19 inch rims are compatible with the upgrade.

Going with these..thanks!
You'll be happy with them. If I remember right, they even come with new brake hardware. Just remember your rear calipers will need the tool to be able to compress the pistons. You can rent it for free from the parts store if you don't already have it.

I've got EBC yellowstuff pads and their slotted rotors on both the Shelby and the wife's Focus ST. Had them on the FoST first and they worked so well that I put them on the Shelby. They work great and will use them again. They do dust something crazy and if they aren't warm they will squeal a bit, but man do they work.
