2009 Anniversary Edition ZX-10R. No power modes, no ABS, no TCS. Running RLS exhaust (will be going with an M4 shorty soon), ECU Tune, Filter, etc. I think she is around 195HP at the crank as she sits. Full twist on the throttle through 3rd gear is mind melting. Can't get enough of it, and today was an especially good day to ride. great therapy.

I had a twin. I miss it, but my wife would lose it if I told her I needed another one.

I had an 08’ 10R

I’d recommend dropping a tooth on the front sprocket.

Use the same chain.

You need a speedo healer but your factory speedo is off as is anyways.

I sent my ECU out for a tune as well.

Dropping a tooth on the front sprocket was probably the best mod though. Makes driving in traffic so much easier. 1st gear that does almost 100mph stock is annoying

Thanks. How much difference did the ECU flash make? I heard it wasn't that beneficial on the Gen3 ZX10Rs, but Im open to doing it

I noticed a good difference.

Can’t recall the dude I sent mine too but I was on what I think was ZX10R.net or something. Found him on there.

If I recall they lean it out a bit, add timing, and open the intake runner butterflies sooner.

Think it was like @10whp and 15wtq or something. Mainly midrange

I’d join ZX10R.net. It was a good source when I bought my bike brand new in 2009.

The guys that did it were private and not a company so they may be gone or there are different options now.

Don’t waste time with a power commander. Def send your ECU for flash.

Your bike should have an Ohlins steering damper. In 08 at least, they weren’t specd the same as real Ohlins so we were sending ours out for that too. Got some different valving. One the stock one you wouldn’t notice a huge difference between full soft/stiff.

You're right, it is great therapy and has been very therapeutic for 58 years but time to get off...I'm 73 now, sold my Busa, sold my S/E Dyna and Vmax all in last weeks...Have fun and be safe.
