Last week I installed a VMP intercooler. With everything else stock it made a bit of a difference. Tonight I installed the 13/14 intercooler pump. That thing moves a lot of water. I'm curious to see what changes it makes now.

You just did the IC and still have the stock heat exchanger?

And how about speed bumps? We have them around here and if you're not paying attention BAM! Ask me how I know. LOL.

I would bet a lot of our roads down here in Connecticut are about the same as yours.

In the portland area there are speed bumps but I avoid those like the plague. A lot of the roads in my general area have recently been re paved which is nice but I still have to be careful on less traveled roads.

Is this with the stock IC adapter and lines???
Yes. Stock adapter, stock lines, stock pump, upgraded heat exchanger. I'm hoping to drive it to work on Friday to see if the new pump helps at all.

I did one really hard pull in 3rd and 4th when I raced an Evo. IAT topped out at 125. Usually that would put me in the 140 range even with ambient temps in the mid-high 70's. And it recovered pretty quick too.

With the warmer temp's lately I decided to check on the car. Lots of condensation under the hood. So I dried all that off and even the car cover was wet in some spots. So it's staying off.

That's what sucks about Minnesota and the drastic changes in temperature and humidity. I won't have this problem next winter when I keep my cars in the shop.

I'm not familiar with Portland roads, but pretty familiar with Portsmouth and Kennebunkport roads, just south of Portland. We vacation in southern Maine pretty much every year, along with Boothbay.

The roads in Billings have cleared up and the street sweepers were out, weather was 60 today and the next week looks similar. If your weather holds like ours it’s time to move that sexy cobra to its new home

Damn! That's awesome, I hope so. Suppose to get in the 50's by the weekend. The last couple of years we've got dumped on with snow in April.

Soon I hope!

We won't see street sweepers until mid to late April, but most of our roads are free of sand because many/most towns use a chemical spray on the roads to melt the early snow cover, followed by the plows. Temps are starting to climb next week with near 60 late in the week. Then the rest of the month looks like daytime temps ranging from 42 to 60. I'm on point with pulling the cover from my car next week. ;)

Dropping the car off on Sunday for the FTBR kit, bumpsteer, and beefier front diff brace. I was planning to do steering rack bushings myself, but since they'll already have it in the air I'm having the shop do those as well. Gonna be a few months before I can really test it out and feel the differences, but it'll be worth the wait.

The secondary roads in the portland area and all of Maine actually can be hit or miss. I will say though that there has been a lot of repaving going on the past few years on a lot of secondary roads. The main roads that are heavily traveled such as route 302, 202, 4, 1 are all in really good shape or have had new pavement in the past few years in spots where it needed it. I have a 19 mile commute to work and the entire way has been re paved within the past 2-3 years. I try as much as possible to only drive the Cobra on roads I know well or stick on the main routes that are in good shape.

Recently I got my calipers back from powder coating, put all the new seals, dust boots and pistons in them and mounted them back on the Cobra. Will be bleeding the system soon.

Your sweeper are out early, at least a lot older than ours. We don't see sweepers until mid to late April. Fortunately our streets aren't bad; no sand.

Got the FTBR kit going in this week. Noticed a little spot on the garage floor right below where the diff would have been. Figured it was the rear cover and maybe a bolt or two needed to be snugged up. Already have the beefier Ford Racing piece on her so I thought it’d be simple. Turns out it was coming from the input side. As they say, it’s not a leak; it’s just the horsepower sweating. Lol
