Pretty wild stuff.

I remember the first time I heard “3D printers” I thought they just made plastic toys and tools.

Turns out they’re pretty useful...

Just need to 3d print all of the other engine components. Sadly the technology will never be fully developed because everything will be shifted to electric.

eh, I dunno...3D printing capability will continue to progress for a number of reasons. If new production ICE's fade away printing parts may become the most economical way to keep old/specialized/modified ICEs running. There's a definitely a tipping point in the drop in production numbers where printing them in decent quantities would be viable

This. When ICE parts go bye-bye, there will be a guy making pistons in his garage somewhere.

3d printing pistons can create awesome geometry changes but it's still not top dog material wise until we can 3d print AMMC pistons (which I imagine will never happen as aluminum composites are complicated as it is or 3d print Aluminum beryllium pistons (theoretically possible I believe)

What I want to know is does anyone know how to properly pronounce "Mahle" correctly? I've always pronounced it like most people I have heard which is just like "mall", but I have had a part rep from Autozone try to correct me and tell me it is pronounced like "may-lay" and then this guy in the video said it as "mall-uh", and I have heard it said like "mail" also. I'll probably always say it my way but apparently there is a dispute over this.

Baby steps, Jeff. ;)

Any future projects planned?
;)

Nothing in my head yet. But the subwoofer mount worked like a charm. I was actually shocked, and I have a list of people wanting me to make sets for them in the JL Wrangler community.

Derrick on VGG pronounces it right...but I didn't realize it wasn't a Derrickism until you just stated the facts.

We had a couple Mahle engineers from Germany on site testing some hardware and both "mall-uh" and "mah-lee" were used, more frequently the "mall-uh" pronunciation.

I once used the German translator to pronounce the word and I remember it pronouncing the way I was, but I just found this on Google and it is supposedly specifically for the company and it says it even more differently than the ways I have ever heard it! I'll concede that I'm wrong, but I'm not sure anyone knows unless it comes from the family it's named after lol.
