its an even better drag car. ive never had a car that just goes, no drama, no wheel hop. just bottom 12s until its heat soaked. so like 2 or 3 bottom 12s LOL

Add boost and a fuel system to anything coyote powered and you can run 10s all day long. My f150 is a fuel pump away from low 10s.

One of my favorite Benz cars.

Those AMGs are nice. Your '06 E55 AMG was really nice. Great color. Nice stance. You must miss it a lot at times.

ah, I used a poor title. I still have my E55, I don't think I could let it go at this point. its the perfect all around car. comfy, quick, easy to modify and subtle.

Very nice E. I had an 05 with a weistec supercharger swap on it. It was a blast!!!

I've heard about that. Been considering picking up an sl55, may go with the whipple on it. That weistec kit is good but damn pricey. Mine had a built trans and had 750 to the tire

Well, that's a good thing. Yeah, when I saw "old" in your title I wrongly assumed it was "old" as in "no longer have". How many miles on it?

The pinnacle merc 4 door in terms of styling and performance IMO. I look at how much the values of M5s from this era have come up and have to think that E55s will make that same move.

Still one of the best looking Mercs imo. Looks killer.

I had an SL55 AMG for a day back when I was probably 20-22. Man that power and torque felt so linear. Smacked a modded SRT Neon around a few times before I had to return the Benz to its owner. lol

I'm glad you put this up. I am looking for a vert of some kind for my wife and the Benz is on my list. She has had a BMW 335 and I don't want to go down that road again. Have been looking at 2 door SL series but don't know anything about the Benz cars.
Can you guys that know them lend some advice? Looking in the 16 to 19 years.

Nothing currently coyote powered looks as good as that E class does, and you're comparing early 2000 tech to 15 year newer tech.
