Goodbye Sierra, Hello F150

So last weekend I sold my 2016 Sierra. I had that truck for a little over 3 years and put right under 100k on it. I know, I drive a lot lol. It was a good truck with a few issues I ran across but other than that, I was happy with it. I have been looking out for a 15-17 F150 platinum for a while and I found one whilst finding a buyer for my truck at the same time and it worked perfectly.

I picked up this 2015 Platinum, panoramic roof, 5.0, and Magnetic Grey. I love everything about this truck and everything my GMC lacked, or I wasn’t a fan of, this truck makes up for. Seats are insanely comfy, it rides better, more power and sounds better. I couldn’t be any happier and I’m excited to actually want to mod a vehicle again while my bank account doesn’t lol. I’ve already done a few things to it in the short time I’ve had it. Side windows were done so I threw 35% on the windshield, 2.5” level and just got my 34’s put on today. I’ve got a few things on order like LED fogs, and Some exterior stuff and hoping to get the chrome paint matched soon. I am still debating getting a forged wheel setup for it in a few months but I’m loving the OEM+ look.

Trucks beg for leveling kits. Mine is leveled as well. I hate the raked look.

Get you a real leveling kit lol. Seriously though nice truck, you’re going to love it!

What do you do about the tinted windshield when it comes time for a sticker? Or is it legal in your state?

Definitely not legal here lol we aren’t even allowed anything on the front windows if there’s any on the back, I just like to live dangerously. I’ve done it on all of my vehicles.

we don’t have a sticker on the window. No inspections here; only sticker we need is the license plate sticker.

Congratulations! A 2015! It looks to be in really nice shape. How many miles on it?

Honestly wish I would’ve went with a 3 or 3.5”. I’d rather have it higher in the front than the rear but it’s almost exactly even now.

92k now and it’s been taken care of for the most part. No swirls, no imperfections in the seats or interior. The front bumper on the passenger side has to be re painted because it’s kinda screwed and looks awful but it goes in next week for that.

Congratulations- super sharp truck. Look into getting the OEM rims powder coated black. Just got mine done and I’m in love with how it looks. Pic is posted in the trucks thread. Definitely worth it.
