Interesting. I had the SS on mine with OEM 2014 GT500 manifolds, cat and mid pipe and the drone was horrible. I took them off and went to Ford Racing. Do you know if that is a 2.75" pipe?

I would expect an off-road mid-pipe is going to increase drone, so it will be interesting to hear how it works for you.

How did the resonator get that badly dented. Bottomed out?

I have heard staggering the resonators is also helpful.

Resonators do A LOT to knock down an otherwise rowdy exhaust note. I use them on just about everything I drive because the older i get, the more annoyed i am by droning or overly loud exhaust sound.

as a side note how close are those pipes to the driveshaft? isn't that a concern with carbon fiber?

those look like stock mustang gt over axle pipes.

well i know for a fact they are because i have 3 sets in my garage. i even believe they have that same exact dent in them too.

On a side note, the bottom side is absolutely pristine clean!!
