Still confused here. You’ve had success with Nitto and you don’t drive in rain.
I’d run the new NT555R G2s on both the GT500 and the Cobra. Traction is key and makes you able to enjoy the power you have.
Michelin also makes a great tire, but these do not have traction for big power and neither of your fun cars have advanced traction control.
Spinning ain’t winning. Not much fun either.

^What's the speed rating on those Nittos, and would you trust them to 160, give or take? On some level, I'd trust the Michelin tire more at high speeds.

I’ve personally ran 555Rs to 180.
But how often do you really drive that fast right?
Occasional and not sustained 150+ is fine in my experience.

I've run Invo and G2s. Both rode smooth but the G2s were quieter. I liked them more than the MPSS I had. The Nitto price was also good.

Where do you recommend to buy the NT555R G2?
Looks like they are all on back order?
What size and tire do you recommend for front?
Rear is 305/35/20 for rear?

When ordering it ask load size, load index?

Clutch, and 4.10 gears going in this week!

Not sure what size wheel you have on the front but I run a 275/35/20 on a 20x9.5 in the front. Also I run a 305/35/20 in the rear on a 20x11.

I just looked them up on Discount Tire and it would appear that they are available?
Have you messaged the vendor rep on this forum about availability?

I have 0 traction with the 555 G2's until 70mph and I'm only making 500.

Ran the NT-05R's last year, they were pretty good but going to try the MT SS or 555 RII in 275/50-15 this year. Or maybe the R888R if I can find a cheap set of 17's to mount them on

I run the 555 RII (G2) on the rear and it hooks really well from a 2nd gear roll on the street with 700/700+ RW. I would also agree that you can't go wrong with the MT or the Toyo's.
