Pretty much the exact same thing happened to me at the track once. Friend with a huge engine and twins making about 3 times my power. My at the time...procharged 02 GT making 400. Eight mile track....took the tree and was winning.....for about 50 feet.....then a rocket blew past me. I later watched the footage and he lost sight of the ground and was about to come into my lane but corrected then nailed it. HAHA

That's Dennis Bailey. He has a performance shop called BB&T from Southhaven MS. He and his brother has built some awesome cars. He races with the Memphis crew and races a blue camaro on that show. He built the motor in my fox actually. (nothing special, just a 306) Check out Dennis Bailey wreck on YT. It's pretty bad.
