Kinda obnoxious driving, but the buggy itself looks ready for King of the Hammers. Definitely would enjoy a toy like that!

Ping pong ball! We have a bunch of Canadians come down to race our series for KIng of Hammers North. Good drivers and great people. Lots of awesome setups! If they drove like this guy they would snap axles too often

I have 0 interest in getting into one of those bouncers, period.

I have a tech that's built his own rock crawlers, and that looks like fun...but I have no desire to get throw around like this guy is.

And no helmet? How do you not smash your head on that?

Exactly. Stupid.

Even with a helmet on, taking bumps like that would give you a hell of a whiplash.

Those guys have harnesses on too. I can't ****ing imagine how that would feel on your neck with no HANS device.

...like 'Merica. I wake up every morning and piss excellence...and blood.

To each their own. Good for you if that is your thing. Looks like a fun toy for like a day.

I feel like obnoxious driving is the only way to drive that thing...no? I mean, pussyfooting isn’t gonna get you up those trails. And if you have the $$ to fix things, might ass we’ll just smash on it and see what happens.

It looks like if it can't bounce over the hill, it's trying to dig through it.

That's one of Tim's older rigs. His newest Menace with IFS and a blown 454 is even more rowdy. I got to see his first competition in it last year at moonlight offroad. Rather uneventful run but was still insane hearing it echo through the hills. I completely agree about bouncers, Id much rather take my Cherokee out and do some technical slower crawling trails than pin it and hope for the best. That being said I don't think I have the balls to use a bouncer to it's fullest potential either.

Thats the old video that seems to have spurred a ton of interest in rock bouncers. Both drivers and machines have come a long way in 10 years! I would love to have one. I spent the day in my cousin's LS buggy that could hang with the bouncers, but we stuck to crawling that day. The couple of times he ripped on it was ridiculous.
