I made a claim and provided and example like you asked. But its typical for one to refuse to see the truth when then defend one side and not the oath they took.
Can you read? I asked for you to provide examples because you stated many times this happens. Don’t google one example and then say that many times. Has it happened, I’m sure, but that was probably way back in the day and not nearly as prevalent as you claim. But you’re the type of person who will just say whatever as the wind blows. You need character son, good luck.

Look up above.

Im guessing you want me to do all the research for you. Not sure why you continue to be so blind. Its almost like you have a guilty conscience.

Uh, yes, that's pretty much what I was asking. If you don't see the legal or safety ramifications in those cases, and plenty more, you're missing a major crux. This is a huge legal cluster**** that will endanger a lot people. But if you are fine with your brain surgeon "toking up on his own time" and you trust their judgement to not partake when they shouldn't, that's great. Just don't try to sue when things don't go as planned. THAT is the issue.
It is literally no different than alcohol. The same people in any of those professions that would do their job impaired are still there regardless of whether or not weed is legal. You can't be this naïve? Doctors drink all the damn time, so do pilots, so do (insert every other job that humans perform). What is to stop one of those drunk people now, a breathalyzer? Hardly. If a surgeon makes it into the OR drunk you are not going to know (more than likely), it is up to the other staff to call it...just like it would be if they were high. Same goes for pilots, there is not an interlock device that requires pilots to blow into before the jet starts...

Lol, nice try. You have no idea how well I see. You have no idea because you have zero experience except for what some turds claimed on the news, which they do all of the time. But you keep believing what you believe and I will keep on fighting the good fight, without you apparently

I believe if you have a job where federal regulations prohibit smoking then it’s still an illegal substance. Case in point I have a CDL and federally I cannot have any trace amount of mj in my system. It’s also grounds for immediate termination by employers that have to follow these federal laws.

Sad part is you don't know what i know or dont. You just assume. Which proves the point of why do you need to ask to search someones vehicle if a crime has not been committed.

Why do they need to exit the vehicle on a MV stop if a crime has not been committed or suspected of a crime.

I do hope you continue to be one of the good ones and serve and protect. While also protecting freedoms of the constitution when you out in the field.

Your right to be intoxicated ends the second your intoxication threatens someone elses Freedom. Kind of like a stoned Dr. performing brain surgery.

Looks like i was right on the reading comp part (or lack thereof).
JFC. Making weed legal will not make people go all reefer madness. People that do not drink and drive will not all of a sudden toke and drive. Besides driving while high is already covered under the law. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a brain surgeon is far more intelligent than you and if that person does not already come to work and perform surgeries while drunk or high, then they are not going to start after legalization.

Apply your same dumbass logic to guns...your right to a gun ends when my freedom is threatened. That is every gun grabber's viewpoint because guns are the boogeyman and here you are using their logic. You even go further and think that the only way weed should be legal is if it can be rapidly tested for. Sounds a lot like liberals and their want for federal training and licensure for a person to own a gun.

There are a few reasons to ask someone from a car... sometimes furtive movements can lead one to believe there may be a weapon in the car or they are trying to hide contraband, Sometimes it’s safer to have the driver step out. Sometimes you want to separate the driver and passengers and interview them if you feel something is not right. It’s called instinct and investigation. In most all crimes an automobile can be attributed, in some way. So it makes sense to focus on traffic stops to help solve crimes.
Nobody is going to pull grandma groceries out of her car for the hell of it. Unless the cop is a complete moron or on a power trip, the reasons are to investigate or to merely follow a hunch. Instincts can be an effective tool once the skill is sharpened.
20+ years on the job and I have never heard or personally seen anyone I work with plant evidence or do any shady shit. Other than driving too fast for no reason or being a dick to people, which I do not condone.
But I digress, if police can no longer ask people out of their cars then crime will rise significantly and there will be far less arrests and prosecutions. Think about it... if a criminal makes it to his car, he’s safe??? If the police suspect or have good reason to believe ray ray has some crack and a gun in the car, we can’t ask him to step out? That’s pretty ridiculous.

Naive, lol? I was going to say that about you but held back. And I knew we'd reach the point quickly where you'd equate marijuana to alcohol.

You missed the point.

Where are the specific regulations in this law regarding the numerous examples I pointed out? In addition, how about the protections (or lack thereof) with respect to lawsuits when using/partaking as will now be allowed. I'm not sure you comprehend how massive the legal mess this will bring. You like to think this is the same as alcohol but it isn't alcohol.

I imagine it will be the same as alcohol; some sort of no open container/no use while driving.

Can’t discern raw dope from smoked dope so not sure how this will work.

There's also no way to tell exactly how much weed is in someone's system that you can do on the side of the road

And there you have it. Somebody gets it.

There are no specific laws that govern what a physician can and cannot do when it comes to cannabis. It’s widely accepted that a doctor cannot legally practice if his or her work is compromised by any drug—be it opioids, alcohol, or weed. But marijuana poses a specific challenge since the substance can stay in your system, and show up on drug tests, for up to a month after use. There is no way to distinguish between someone who smoked a joint in the morning before work and one who did so three weeks ago on a weekend.

I guess in certain situations in can be a fine line. Because those that are not criminals or suspects should have a very smooth and pleasant interaction with police. Unfortunately accross the nation that does not seem to be the case everywhere.

Its tough because they are alot of wonderful good police officers out there, that truly love there job and help people.

That bad ones can make groups look bad.

It would be even greater to change some cultures within our society that glorifies criminal activity, dishonesty, and being dependent on the government because of no ethic or morals. That would be nice.

I totally agree with that. I wish they would untie your hands for certain situations.

Not necessarily a job for police, that’s a job for society as an entirety. Everyone must play a part, sadly they just point fingers and blame.
