General Motors 'highly confident' on hitting guidance marks
- Execs with General Motors (NYSE:GM) stated at an investor conference today that the company is still confident the company that it will achieve its full-year earnings guidance even with the global chip shortage.
- "Over the last couple of weeks as we talked about this being a volatile situation, we’ve actually seen the situation get better for us," notes GM CFO Paul Jacobson.
- "At this point, I would say that we’re highly confident about being able to hit our guidance that we put out to the Street," he adds.
- Shares of GM recovered today from a broad down day yesterday in the auto sector.
