Probably, but they won’t be well known and you won’t reach such a wide consumer base.I'd like to know if there is an alternative to ebay and amazon for buyers and sellers.

I’m surprised a baller like you would care when the funds arrive? I send my eBay packages when eBay says it’s been paid. I don’t look at the money until later and I’m not even a baller. Weird.I sell a ton of shit on ebay and just went through this. I listed two items last week and I was able to list one without signing up for the new payment method but it would not list the second item unless I went through this.
This pisses off sellers but will piss off buyers, too. It takes three days for funds to transfer and I am not going to ship anything until I see the funds in my account. The person that bought my item was hounding me as to when it would ship but that is his problem not mine.

Things will change. This is an opportunity for @SID297 to offer store fronts peddling wares on this site.
I'm ready to sign up when the opportunity presents itself.
Apparently TX weather has caused a run on the bank. The are hoarding it in Houston a la toilet paper in March.
I agree that it's annoying. They moved me over to Managed Payments last month. Payments are posted to my bank account in about 4 business days. I used to let the PayPal deposit build up through the month and make one transfer to my business checking account. Now I have lots of individual deposits, and that's resulted in more paperwork on my end. All in all, a royal pain in the butt.Managed payments is annoying. I used to get my money from Paypal 1-2 days after a sale. Now its closer to a week through eBay.
To add to the misery of eBay's Managed Payments, I was told my a local postal rep that the USPS is going to be increasing the First Class Package rates substantially, and increasing the average delivery from 3 days to a week or more. Shipments from eBay sales are going to take longer, too. Supposedly all First Class Mail, including First Class Package is moving exclusively by truck. Sounds like only Priority Mail/Express Mail will move by plane. If all of this is what's coming (to help their financial woes), bill payments will take longer to be delivered.
Bob,
Do you think the democrats who now control all branches, are throttling the USPS to increase charges and delivery time in an effort to further smash small businesses?
For all we know, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, may be getting sweetheart deals...
(I'm apologize, I'm not trying to jack the thread)
I don't think so, but nothing surprises me anymore. We all know that the USPS has been improperly managed for decades. With COVID-19, it just got worse. When they temporarily increased rates the last quarter of 2020 do to "increased demand", I expected more increases to soon come because the public accept that increase. They're going to rely more on truck/land transportation going forward in an effort to reduce costs. But that's only a Band-Aid fix IMO. They need to revamp the administration and take some lessons from FedEx and UPS. Sadly, neither UPS or FedEx offers a 1-lb. shipping option to compete with USPS's Priority Mail, nor do they offer an option to compete with USPS's First Class Package.Bob,

But, we get what we pay for. First class by truck only isn't first class. It's an admission of poor planning and an incompetent leadership wrapped in DC beauracracy.I don't think so, but nothing surprises me anymore.
