Why? I guess every 20 years movies have to get rebooted. I actually liked the 90's version because I was in school and the first MK game was awesome. This I'm not sure about.

My 11yr old son plays the latest version, MK11 I think. He’s into it but I never was, even as a kid. I preferred Tekken. Sadly I’ll have to sit through it with him.

Did anyone else hear the techno song in their head when they read the words "mortal kombat?"

I'll see it

Played the games and watched the films.

Was always a big fan of the ninjas...and all the hot AF ladies

I find it hard to believe that anyone would actually pay money to watch that.

Sounds like a bunch of people in here with a big dump in their pants. This is 100% watch at home on release night for me. It's obviously not going to have some crazy, deep plot. It's all about the action and fight scenes. You guys need to lighten up. Sub-Zero stabs a guy, freezes his blood into a dagger, then stabs him again. Let's ****ing go.

Even though everyone will have a choice to watch this in theaters, this comes with my HBO Max subscription, so I'm not shelling out anything extra to watch this. :p

I really hope this trend continues even after the pandemic.
