Just did some very similar things to a young LT4, you don’t happen to know which cam phaser lockout kit you used do ya? My guess was Comp Cams, but couldn’t tell.

Can’t wait to see this thing run, honestly cant imagine what it’ll feel like. My guess is scary laughter in abundance

Everything is done body wise from the firewall to the front. Finalizing cooling for the engine tonight and hopefully dropping it in for the final time asap. I reached out to Jeremy at Fasterproms and he hooked me up with a start up tune so it's all nuts and bolts from here on out!

I'd love to see this car vs a stohr wf1 with a turbos. It doesn't have the same power, but the wf1 weight is around 800lbs.

Pretty apples/oranges... The Stohr would get shit kicked to hell and back on the straight but likely still be faster around most tracks.

Looks great.

No issues at all with the body since I had the factory do a prefit, but other than that, almost everything requires a bit of massaging/trimming to fit. All the aluminum interior panels, the headlight covers, door windows, etc. There aren't any specialty tools needed though... I did everything with a dremel and milwaukee angle grinder & die grinder. No issues with the build really at all, other than waiting for parts that weren't shipped originally with the car, but I guess they assume people will take years to build them so they just deliver the big stuff right away and send anything else that may have had supplier issues later.

I'd love to see this car vs a stohr wf1 with a turbos. It doesn't have the same power, but the wf1 weight is around 800lbs.

I have never heard of one of those until now. I'm not sure how this car would do against an 800lb single seat racecar, but like blk02edge said, it would probably get waxed on the straights and then catch up on the corners. This thing, for a street car, is about as far away as practical can get, but still isn't on the level of the Stohr.

Your Ultima is still a crazy fricken ride. My brother wants a Radical RXC, like the ultima, is street legal as well. Radical makes a car that races with the stohr cars, but I believe the Stohr cars are still faster. There are stohr cars with crazy engines, blown s2000 motor and turbo busa engines. Would love to see one of those against an ultima with an LT5!

Btw, you still talk to the Viper guys in Florida? Would love to see your Ultima race one of those mild Turbo Viper builds, Vijay Swamy on the higher end of mild and Ryan's green Viper on the lower end of the turbo build. Even if they are on the "lower end" still $$$.

Yeah I still talk to the Viper guys. Ryan and I message each other probably weekly since we both have Boxers. I'm looking forward to seeing videos of his car he just got back. The RXC is also such an awesome car, most come with the 3.5L EB but I saw this one a while back with the SR8 V8 busa power. Awesome until you need to pay for a rebuild.

Swamy’s viper really shouldn’t even be considered a “mild build” anymore considering the 60-130 times he’s tossing up now since getting it back

Ever since Mcrippinz got his acr to 2500+rwhp, that changed the metric of low build (or according to calvo owners) small dick package, aka 1300hp or less. Did Vijay up the power?

One of the jokes was "you know this guy is rich when he sends his car to Nth Moto just to change out the wheels..."

i don’t think I’ve seen where anything has been said about new numbers since he just got his car back from nth again for some updates and a new wheel set up but he threw up a 60-130 of 3.35 which is no slouch at all. I’d bet based off times other vipers have run in that range from both calvo and nth it’s in the 1800 range now.

it’s just wild how usable some of these set ups seem to be. I saw clips of a guy hitting the road course with his nth built viper. Mcrippinz car is just another level of wild now. I can’t even fathom the money these guys have dumped in these set ups LOL
