How is it being viewed as a negative other than worse fuel economy? Traction all the time doesn’t sound like a bad thing. I was worried when it first came out that it was just going to be a burn out machine.

Most desert racing is done is 2wd. Modern trophy trucks are just now seeing 4wd variants. Blasting high speed on fire roads and through the desert doesn't require 4wd and the ability to hoon in the sand in 2wd would be nice.

Not to mention.... I like doing ****ing burnouts.

probably why in the Raptor you can only use Baja mode in 2wd

simply for tooling around and blowing off the rear tires is what I got out of it. Personally I don’t see it as a detractor.

Big time, I agree.

I would say even less than 9mpg. Maybe 7 or 8. lol
My '05 Ram Daytona rcsb would get pretty shitty gas mileage, probably 10 or 11mpg. Not complaining, just mentioning it for reference.
Omg. I had an 05 Daytona rcsb. Go man go orange. Was a great truck. Put 175k miles on it.

I saw one for the first time yesterday going down the road, rig looked sweet!! Sounded like America with that sweet V8 rumble! There happened to be a raptor next to it and the raptor owner looked awkward. Like he didn’t wanna get caught checking out the competition. It was pretty funny seeing him look out of the corner of his eye with his head pointing forward and his hands at 10 and 2.

I couldn't hit 10 mpg (city) after I started running 35's on my 2005 Daytona 4x4, so I can only imagine what real world mpg will be on the new TRX when your constantly making that sc whine. lol

The paint color choices on the configurator really change the option packages dramatically, weird.

Yeah, Booky, the blower is going to make fuel mileage jump up and down like a trampoline. LOL. Problem is really trying to stay OUT of boost. Takes me back to my '03 Cobra when I used to "try" to maintain some semblance of fuel efficiency. In the end, my mindset set was "forget about it" and just have fun.

I was at my desk and heard something revving outside the other day. Walked outside to see this. Boss man brought it by while he was test driving it. One of 7 that were delivered this week, all pre sold before they got there. Probably not the color I would choose but its a sick truck anyways. Sounds fantastic and looks beefy as hell. He said wasn't planning on getting one but after driving this one he's got an order in now lol
