Longtubes into another brand's mid pipe

I have a pypes catless x, went to long tubes and figured i would just cut the legs off and add flanges.. nope! The bbk headers where more narrow than the x-pipe. I wasn't about to spend $600+astronomically high shipping to hawaii so i cut up my pypes and narrowed them. Since most manufacturers say their pipes only work with their midpipes, ha! I pulled a fast one on bbk.

Tldr: bbk long tubes are about 15inch pipe to pipe. Pypes x pipe was about 18in. Pretty proud of fabbing up my new midpipe.

Clever move! And you saved some bucks in the process. How does new setup sound?

About the same, once i get my suspension back on i need to go for a drive. Ecu is still trying to learn from being unplugged for 2 weeks.
