I love the build. I just don't get the 7.3, and I haven't since it came out. It isn't very impressive, even when blown for such a large engine. Maybe I am missing something.

I love the coyote with some forced induction of course. Does it sound awesome no but “ like ass” I don’t think so. With the right exhaust they can sound pretty mean in my opinion. I like the high revving aspect of the over head cam coyote. Personally not interested in having a 7.3 but still pretty cool to see someone do it.

Take awhile for aftermarket to support fully as a truck only engine. If Mustang gets a variant, Katy bar the door.

Props for his motivation and effort. That said, his fab work leaves a lot to be desired. As in, "horrible" would be overly kind. At least he's doing it when far more capable outlets, aren't.

I forget the shop, but with some port work, cam, and compression, a shop was making 730 on a blower cam grind sans-boost.

I don't understand how that's not impressive lol

Because...can be done with 5.0 as well?

7.3 is making that power without boost. A coyote will make that with boost.

A well built 7.3 will be an animal when the parts start hitting shelves

Not exactly. That was on an engine dyno (not whp) and certainly more than a "bolt-on only" NA build.

Although not popular, there are a few N/A 600whp coyotes running around so I agree with @HISSMAN ... not exactly earth shattering on the 7.3's part.

Who's running 600hp in an NA Coyote?

"This thing over here sticks up too high... I'm just going to bend it till it fits." No F's given!
It's possible he plans to "clean things up" and make it look like a professional job once he has it up running and dialed in. No reason to put a lot of effort and money into making things look perfect if you end up having to redo things. He's the first to do this so who knows what may or may not work and have to be redone.

Just a thought.

I meant it more as a compliment than a criticism
