And I’m about to pull the trigger on a plaid with auto pilot. Lololol. Tesla Lowballed me hard on the hawk which was expected but it will be easy to sell outright so not a big deal.

delivery in March.
Good luck with it. Can't wait to see the dragy vids. I wouldn't mind having a Model S for cruising around.

lol they claim 500+...assuming it’s not a 1/4 mile at a time

thats better than my Mustang could ever think of acheiving

Brooke's did a test awhile back on an older P85D and estimated about 170 passes on a full charge. I imagine the plaid would be in that range or higher, especially with a larger battery. Obviously as the battery depletes, performance will slowly suffer, but who makes more than 100+ runs at the drag strip?

Tesla Model S Drag Racing Energy Usage and Cost

That’s a lot more Whir than I expected

U would think with all this technology and money that they would actually design a good looking car. The thing is still the ugliest car on the planet smfh.

Probably has over a 1000 ft lbs of TQ tho. Electric is the future and will absolutely DESTROY gas cars with all that TQ.

On the street off the line that thing would put Bus lengths on my Turbo Mustang!

Aztek says hold my beer.

C'mon man! The Tesla is nowhere near the ugliest car on the planet.

While it will destroy just about everything...how do you put metrics on fun?
While mashing WOT it's going to be the the most fun on four wheels ever....at all other times, you'll just be driving a really nice & quiet full size luxury car.

My PP1 MT6 GT isn't even in the parking lot of the ballpark where this thing plays...but it is fun 100% of the time.
Just rolling away from a stop, hearing the pipes bark & shifting gears is always entertaining and never gets old.
Having a quiet car can be fun. The drone in my Terminator gets old after a while. I think this Tesla will be the best of both worlds. I don't get the hate for it. Looks like a pretty amazing feat of engineering. Which is why Tesla is worth more than the top 9 car companies in the world right now combined!

Does the new Hayabusa come with a mohawk helmet for the rider and a Torrid plus size thong for the passenger?

So a new Tesla is equivalent to driving a clapped out Fox Body on slicks in your mind? Lol, go for it.
You ought to check out some of the cash days videos where a dude showed up in a Model S and spent the night dragging slick equipped fox bodies on the street.
Seems not enough people really understand how hard it is to go this fast on the street.

We get some really off the wall theories around here
No, I haven't seen the white P100D street racing. SMDH.

Yeah, I don't understand how hard it is to go fast on the street. I only drive an 1,100 RWHP TT Mustang. SMDH

Then tell me all about how you can destroy every Tesla you see on the street?
Unless you have some amazing high-end traction control system in your car, I’d put $100 on a model S plaid dragging you from any stoplight to 60 miles an hour or so. Probably further than that.

I do have a traction system in place, but I really could care less about 0-60. I have never once had someone run me from a dead stop. Usually driving from a roll. In that case, buh bye Tesla. Exactly what I built my car for.

So I suppose you have a $140K Tesla then?

Roll racing? Do you beep 3 times? lol And here I was laughing at the Tesla dorks. Don't forget to turn your hazard lights on to show you won as soon as the other car starts catching up.
