The other one that sticks out to me was the 3 03/04 Cobras on the freeway, and the maxima, or something tries the ricer flyby. Always loved that one. I will see if I can find it.

Edit: found it.

I remember this video, it always reminded me of a group of sharks and seeing a wounded fish go by.

Besides many of the videos that have already been posted, this is one of the ones I remember when my friends and I were 16 and had just gotten our licenses and we would watch these videos over and over on Streetfire and drool over how fast these cars were back then. This was the first one I thought of.

The Lingenfelter Vette vs the DSM was one of the others we always watched. I also remember Joe's FGT being pretty much the baddest thing to grace the pages of SVTP for a while, and then it got really exciting when everyone started jumping on that bandwagon and the TTGTs started popping up all over with 1000hp, then 1500hp, and then it shot up over 2000hp and it was just untouchable for a while until the Gallardos came around and could match it in most ways. It dominated the standing mile so much that everyone moved to the half mile instead... at least that is how it seemed.

Lol that one is. I remember those days when 400-500 would seem like a lot. Now you need 600+ to be competitive with some factory cars.

Not really... A low 400s whp DSM can run 10s and trap near 130. Been there, done that.

The video that did it for me was the bolt on Terminator that got it's shit pushed in by a heads/cam 1G Z06... vette was black if i remember right. He drove around that Cobra like the guy found reverse all of a sudden. It was awesome. This was around 2003-2004. Ill have to dig around and see if i can find it.

That wasn't the widebody 1G Z06 with the 427 was it? That thing was bad!

As the title asks, which was the FIRST street racing video that got you hooked and you'll probably never forget? For me it was this:

yup. Lots of stories followed that guy (name was Eddie ? ) like he got jacked up street racing and had to lay low for awhile. Went off to school in the northeast somewhere (?)

and for some reason chatter about that vid is where I learned who Finch was, and their song What it is To Burn

old times on this forum

I also remember a vid where a Viper and blown vett race and as the viper walks there’s a banner that says, “This just in, Viper sprays vette “

The whole album "What it is to Burn" was the shit back in in 03/04. When I hear that song it reminds me of my senior year of high school.

I know everyone here always looked forward to Wolverine's videos of his races until he got busted and sent to prison. That was a really wild story.

Was Havoc a member here or was it some Tampa racing site?

IIRC it was a h/c/i transam (ws6?) with a big shot of giggle gas

Oh those were the days, bridges around Tampa Bay were awesome until the fuzz cracked down hard.

I remember Havoc’s car in some vids. And a black C5 HTC “Mike HK’s”

Here’s a really obscure one for you sleuths to find. There was a guy named something like Jeff Weisberg who had a ‘71 or ‘72 Camaro. There was a video that started out with him saying, “Hi, I’m Jeff Weiseberg and welcome to my world” followed by a series of shots from the stands of him wheelying from the hole shot with the front end slamming back down at the 60 ft. Can’t remember the song playing.

Mine would be a silver 10th ann Cobra vs a Supra. I think both were bolt ons. Can't find it.

Then Blades videos, KillSprays's vidoes (he is/was a member here with a 01 Cobra)

Pradator03's videos were good but I always though he was a douchebag. I also remember him getting called out by a Procharged 02 TA and he wanted to fight him instead LOL. Guy seemed like a bitch.

I was trying to find the 10th anniversary Cobra vs the Supra too. I have a shit load of old videos from Street fire. I should re-upload them.

Whatever did happen to Havoc and N2S? I use to talk with that dude on ICQ and AIM back in my LS days.

Edit - I got you buddy!

This vids take me back. I can't remember which one started it for me, but I do remember in the early days domestics were getting stomped by imports thanks to F&F.
