I did not bolt mine down, I thought In the beginning I’d be wheeling it around the shop with the supplied wheels, but never did, and that was 15 years ago lol

I’ve never had a problem with it not being bolted down.

I did not bolt mine down either. Moved it twice in 4 years. Once when I recoated the garage floor and then when I got my Mustang. It is longer and hangs over more than my little Spitfire I had...

I mounted a hitch mount bike rack on the front to store the racks and bikes.

I have six 4 posts, none are pinned to the floor. We have a forklift, and Im fully capable of "figuring out" the assembling a lift my self. However, I chose not to. We have a great dealer / installer here in MA. We got the them over several years, and after seeing the 1st one go in, the teams specialty wheels / carts / and expertise putting them together, I decided to let them bring and assemble the ones that came later.

I am getting the xlt also. If you want I can give you the name of a salesman for the company. He can recommend someone in your area to help you.

Thanks Scott. There is a place up in suburbs of Minneapolis that sell and install them.

I might just have to wait a little bit before I get one. I've spent a lot of money lately, lol.

Sure thing. Let me know if I can help. They offer show specials if you can get one.
Cool, I'm not familiar with "show specials". What is that?

They go to two different shows in Florida and offer "show special prices" at both shows. I have that price quote at the office , I can send it to you in the morning if you want me to.

That would be great! I wonder how long they offer the "special prices"? And every vendor has to honor it?
This whole thread is why I love this forum.
Exactly right! Definitely my favorite and most used forum!

Show specials are extra discounts that they give when they are already headed to a car show. We got ours from the local mecum show. I dont remember the exact details (it was 3 years ago) but it was something like 300 or 400 off, free setup and something off the bridge jack and casters, no tax and we just had to bring a car trailer to bring it home.

^^^That is correct but the guy that I spoke to at the show offered to extend the show price for me because I was at the show. If you are not wanting to order one any time soon you can check their web site for 2021 shows and pick one close to you. They do many through out the year.

Where are you in MA? Do you have a shop?
