What track do you race at?

Kinda all over the Midwest. My "home track" would be Heartland Park Raceway in Topeka, KS.

I'll go as North as Hastings, NE...East at Autobahn, South as Hallet (COTA next year), and have been as West as High Plains.

That torque! Very nice and flat! You won’t have as much down shifting with that torque curve....

Yup, seen one IRL. A guy in our club here in Sweden has one.
It's a beast! Never ridden in it tho...

Mine only has one seat... A lot of them have the battery, extinguisher and cool suit option in the passenger side.

Realized I haven't updated this...

Car is stupid fast. Way faster than my ACR was, even being down 100hp (it's down 300lbs). Got it wrapped to start the season in the 1998 ORECA livery, turned out nice! I had to add almost 100lbs of ballast to stay in TT1, did that for a weekend and won by over 2 seconds. I decided to move to TTU (Unlimited) so I removed the ballast. Picked up another 2 seconds the next time at the same track. Overall, I'm down almost 5 seconds from my fastest lap in the ACR...that's about 90 sessions vs 10, there's more time to come, so it'll be a fun year!

I ended up tying for 2nd place in the TTU class, as I only ran about half the season. I finished 1st in every session I ran. Now, I just need to grow some bigger balls.

Wrap looks awesome

Thank you. Was very happy with it. There are a few spots that didn't go exactly how I had hoped, but it looks good at 10 feet for sure.

I can't even begin to tell you how much faster that is than my POS lol.

Haha different class though!

That's awesome.

Isnt it crazy that the CC is still racing at some events? Its crazy that its racing newer Vipers in Europe too.

The CC is an INCREDIBLY relevant racecar still. The torque is unreal, the chassis balance is damn near perfect. It's really hard to find a car that is better equipped than the CC from the factory.

What version motor is that based off of? Gen 3 or is it a mix of Gen 4/ 5 parts? Stout numbers for a Gen 3 for sure if that’s the case.

Gen III. It's still a sealed World Challenge Series engine.

I'm guessing they had to run a hell of a restricted plate. The torque is absolutely unreal, mated with the EMCO sequential, it's a killer.

Update.

This last off season I did a heads/cam package; picked up 85rwhp/20ftlbs. Raised the wing about 6" to get some cleaner-non turbulent air to the hold the rear down, went with some dive planes on the front to even out aero pull, and rebuilt the shocks (huge difference).

Super happy with the car. Headed down to the aforementioned Ozark track a week from Friday to see how big my balls are.

EDIT: And in reality, probably picked up more power as the 'final' numbers were off a Mustang Dyno rather than DynoJet like the first.
