I just appreciate this thread! My favorite stuff is the old cerwin vegas, that logo was iconic, RF too.

I have mid-late 90s RF amps sitting in my garage. The ones with the black endcaps. Punch and power i believe. Recently gave one to bro in law who needed an amp.

I had a few of those. And the big daddy PPI amps too. Going waay back now lol.

Sold an old school Linear Power on eBay for $300+ a few months ago. It still had the original instruction booklet.

Its funny how i rarely hear a booming system any more. Used to be common. Now its usually Spanish music lol, but not BOOMING, just LOUD.

Wow. Linear, Fosgate, you guys are bringing back some memories. I would love to be able to compare those old systems to the new stuff of today. Good times back then.

One of the baddest amps I ever owned was an Orion HCCA 275....could cook eggs on it when it as at 1ohm! Blew my rear view mirror off the window with two 15” RF HX2’s in a single chambered 6” port box. I don’t even know if my JL1000 is as bad as that amp was.
