I've had $10,000 sitting in a savings account for more than 3 years now. I kept it around in case I needed it. It's accumulated a whopping $26 in interest during that time. I could have bought 3 Bitcoins with that $10,000 when Bitcoin hit rock bottom in 2018 and that would have been close to $120,000 now. Or I could have bought stock with it. I did put money in crypto the past few years and doing ok now but still wish I had taken that $10,000 into BTC. It's still sitting in the savings account doing nothing.

By doing nothing I lost out on $110,000.
I inherited 10k just over a year ago and everyone told me to put it in a CD. A year later it accumulated $176 in interest. Dumbest thing ive ever done lol.

Yes. I should have bought Tesla or Amazon stock. Thing is you just don't know which way things will go and it is easy in hindsight to look back and think damn I could have made a lot of money with that 10k. Yeah or you could have lost half of it.

I have still not done anything with my spare 10k. But I already made my entrance into the Crypto market a few years ago, never sold and have decent profits now. But I could have had a much bigger portfolio had I done everything right.

Some people got into Bitcoin's early days where you could mine 50 Bitcoins per day on a laptop! And then they sold off thousands of BTC when it was worth a few hundred. I am sure they are also kicking themselves because they did not hold out. There's one guy that threw out a laptop hard drive with 7500 BTC in a wallet years ago when BTC was still worth almost nothing. He never backed up the wallet data and he is SOL on those Bitcoins! That's worth almost $300 million now!

anyone looking for an entry...this might be it.

I'm buying small amounts here....and will keep buying if it continues to go down....which it very well could end up in the low 20k area...but I could also see it being bought up quick once it goes below $30k.

Exactly, just another vicious cycle of Bitcoin. Now we wait to see if its a crash or a hiccup and guess accordingly. This is actually a good thing, it was due. I'm still allotting $25.00 a week and won't move it. But holding my vaulted majority till I think it's time to unvault.

Don't forget, if you want exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum in your retirement accounts, you can purchase shares of $GBTC and $ETHE

now is the time!! ETH, BTC, XRP for long, ADA for long term.

Guys, whats the consensus exchange to go with? Im reading about unhappy people with binance. Robinhood has ETH but not ADA (or XRP i think). I have a paypal account that i could use. But again, i think no ADA or XRP. i was hoping to use one do do them all. A lot of this stuff is foreign to me and it seems like there are so many fees associated with Kraken, webull, etc. Better to have more than one exchange?

we are sitting at about a 29% pullback i think...charts i've seen are showing a max cut back to around $24-$26k...I'd ape in at those levels.

I refuse to buy any stock or investment when it is hyped. Typically you can value a company or asset but not crypto so I just play with or against hype.

hype should translate to yearly valuation. It's simple, buy at the 52 week low. Why on God's Green Earth, would you buy crypto, at the HIGHEST possible peak?? THAT's when you lose your ass. I like to use filters on finviz. Search for large cap companies worth a large chunk. And buy them when they have "taken a hit".

There are a few cryptos ready to take off. Eth cardona ada and xrp are projected to grow big time. Right now could be their low (unless you bought ethereum sub 1k). Depends which article/ forecast you go buy, but we'll over 2x

Question regarding bitcoin. So it is predicted to possibly hit 300k maybe some more. That's 9 to 10 times. Then look at eth, ada or xrp that could be 10x plus. Ada and xrp are around $.30 ea. Wouldn't one be better off putting money into those instead of btc? Ada could reach $10. That's over 20x. Any reason to buy say $500 of btc other than just because it's bitcoin?
