I finally found that on the Order Guide. They don't list the size. Any one know of they're the same size as the Pilot Sport 2's on the CF Track Pack? Same wheel, only painted.

Regarding the CFHP.....without the wing, rear downforce numbers are substantially lower. I assume that the VDM calibration would be different for that alone. Then you you have two different potential tires coming with it that would require a different calibration as well. At this point nobody knows what Ford is doing and its a bit of a secret. To date they have done a poor job getting into any detail beyond marketing fluff. My expectations are low that they somehow step up to the plate and break it down.

VDM calibration??? Had to google that. Makes me miss the simplicity of my '93 Cobra. Just gun it and go! Is that wing worth 6k over the CFHP? I'm factoring in the addition of the Recaros and CF dash.

I noticed that there are 2 different Magnetic Damping Systems for the 2021 GT500's. These only show up on the ordering screen.

Magnetic Damping 2
Magnetic Damping 3

According to Nick @13COBRA, 3 is for the CFTP option, I didn't ask him if the CFHP option also had the 3, but he did say the 2 was for the base car.

Will be interesting to see the wheel design of the CFHP.
Or the easy solution is mailing it in and painting the nice CFTP wheels. Great looking wheel as it is, but I’d love to see a second design.

The image in the order guide is the same looking rim, spokes, etc. just black instead of exposed CF. They found a way to get rid of all of the quality control rejects by painting them.

Does the CFHP have the same springs as the base model or the CFTP?

Again, no detail here yet. Technically speaking, if the CFHP comes with the swing/flap along with the CF wheels, it should be getting its own spring (making three different spring combinations possible through the dealer parts network).

Tob, you know these cars better than most. If you had the chance to buy a CFTP for MSRP, knowing you were going to be driving it 5k miles a year, would you get it or step down to the CFHP or just the handling package?

5,000 miles a year on the road, I'd save myself the money and get a base with the Handling Package.

For 5k miles a year just buy a Moped

C'mon, you're killing me! I've got just over 42k on my '14 GT500 so it's not like I didn't drive it.

I used the same logic when buying my base, plus the base tires are more conducive to a variety of road conditions and temperatures.

Agree with your thinking. Ford rep told the dealer the first allocation has to be one of the two carbon fiber packages. I think Ford is trying to get a handle on just how many wheels and/or spoilers they're going to need.

You can flowchart the logic so many different ways...I wanted a CFTP car but when I understood it wasn't going to happen had no issue choosing a Base with Handling Package.

I wanted the wing and rear seat delete but wasn't big on the CF wheels. I added a factory rear seat delete months ago, and may just have acquired a real deal GT4 wing but since I can't comment on it, I won't. So I suppose that if you try hard enough you can mix and match to get the car you want without the mandatory colonoscopy/wallet rape of the CFTP option pricing.

If I had the opportunity to get a great deal on a CFTP car and I planned on tracking it, yes, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat. If it was mostly street driven with a possible visit to the drag strip I'd be strongly looking at a Base car. And speaking of the Base car, I would not order one without the Handling Package. Nothing wrong without having it I suppose, I just feel that the every car should come with plates/wickers/flap unless its a CFTP car.
