Well decided to hit up a TNT at my track on Sunday. Was kind of a last minute thing but I needed to get some logs with the new pulley now that I fixed the belt slip issue. It didn't disappoint. It has 5.3's in it as it sits after looking at the logs. I was only leaving at 4k on the 2-step and I usually leave at 4500. Shifting to high as well the car is unsettling a bit on the top of 1st. Anyways I think I clipped the quickest blower only cobra for 2020/21 as of right now. The car was seeing about 22-23 psi. I have some stuff coming up that'll put the car deep into the 5.3's or maybe even 5.2's. Enjoy :)

That is very cool. Has the 4R70W been pretty reliable? A friend of mine is down to low 6's so far (Terminator car) and his has been solid.

very reliable so far. Keep temps down let it cool off and it’s good to go. I have a big ass cooler though.

whats she currently weigh? Any way you can shed some weight?

she’s about 3150 or so. Oh yes. Plenty of ways to drop weight. Lamb brakes and manual steering and brakes are happening next. Then optic armor. Other than that I start getting into cutting shit up lol.

Congrats on that stellar 5.419, Chris. Your goal of 5.2s is mind blowing. You'll get there. The launch and application of power looks to be spot on. Hook.....and GO!

Thanks buddy. It’s gonna happen. There is so much in this thing still. $550 billet wheel. And a $120 2.75” pulley she’ll be at like 27/28. It’ll get really crazy then hahahaha that’ll be about the end of the blower though. Not much left in it at that point

Damned that’s impressive Chris. It’s amazing to see how your car has evolved over the years. Can’t wait to see your future progress too!

Thanks man, it's been a lot of fun. I'm glad that I'm taking it slowly too. It makes me really enjoy and push the max that I can before adding something else. Try to clip that perfect pass before doing something else.

Always been a fan of this car. Nice work man.

Thanks man!

Nice work. Nice to see a well thought out combo doing work!

Thanks bud

What are the plans when you hit your next wall with the car? I see you post the blower is close to max.

Nah blower isn't close to maxed out. I had belt slip, and I fixed that. I still can upgrade to a billet wheel, and go down in pulley sizes if need be. I'm at 23psi. Between a billet wheel and a 2.75" upper I'll be at around 27psi.. and then I can always jump to a 18% O/D. The YSI is the most forgiving blower for being over spun.

I don't really see myself hitting a wall. Just enjoying the experience as I go along, taking it nice and slow. Once I feel like I achieved max ET/MPH with a certain combo I'll make a change and try for something new. Right now the push is Lamb Component brakes, and manual steering/brakes. That's happening ASAP for the most part. That alone will get me into the low 5.3's with how bad these Baer's drag lol.

I don't see myself doing anything crazy like a turbo for atleast 5-6 more yrs, when I'm out of the military. Going to ride this little Vortech out for a lot longer. I have plenty of weight reductions I can do. Add more cage for a 25.5. Add after market tq boxes, Add optic armor, etc. Plenty left to do to keep me busy and enjoying the ride as I go :). I would say the big stop for power is going to be when I can't control belt slip..

I obviously misread a previous post of yours.

I do enjoy seeing updates on this car.
