I already got mine and pissed it away. My wife on the other hand, hers says she's being sent a paper check later this month, even though it was direct desposited in April.

I got mine deposited into my bank account on Monday, as did my wife.

If u make over a $112k u get dick. Not really sure how u got the first check unless u filed jointly and made under 150k so u dont qualify for either at $163k.

Anyone else check their payment status and get the following:

Payment #1 status
Bank account number XXXX deposited 5/6/2020

Payment #2 Status Not available

My AGI is $163,000 filed my taxes July 2020 no dependents . I should get $550.00 It sounds like i have to file electronically and claim a rebate? WTH?

'Status Not Available:' IRS says these taxpayers won't receive second stimulus check automatically

In his defense 163K in CT isn't the same as 163K in say the Midwest. Still 100% agree, don't actually "need it". At the same time just kinda redistributing money at that point since all of our taxes including his are paying for it.

I don't think anyone is commenting on where $163k/year lands on the rich/poor scale, they're simply saying that at that income level, you will not receive a stimulus check.

I understand, just pissed these things aren't better thought out. Then again if they were making rules to better target we'd get it in 2029.

First stimulas married jointly @153K i got 1700.00+/- They phased out the payment married jointly between 150-199K. Honestly, I can use the money for taxes.

I just read the article. First round went out to everyone regardless. They smartened up the second round and make it harder for people who aren’t informed about the distribution to get the funding.

My wife and I got a partial “stimulus” based on our 2019 incomes (wouldn’t have gotten anything on 2020’s)

The kids were worth the bulk the second time. Despite a slightly reduced amount for my wife and I, the kids were all worth the full 600.

I don’t understand why anyone is getting a check that is still gainfully employed. They didn’t before Covid if they were employed. Why should they get one now.

I mean I got hit by the shutdowns and stuff this year. Didn't get all the goodies I usually do from my company. That said thats why I have a rainy day fund and live within my means.

Just BS to try to make people happy and offset dumb decisions govt has made regarding covid.
