So true! I honestly think it is the ugliest Corvette EVER!!! Except for maybe the Corvette Summer car. lol

Not just drag radials but front runners too. Surprised it didn’t go quicker.
It's trapping 123ish. It doesn't have more to go faster with. Those front runners aren't saving that much weight
That track is crazy fast! But I have to say back when I had my then new 2006 Z06 and saw what times that were coming out of MIR by Ranger etc... I thought no way possible....
But eventually I did get my 100% stock C6 Z06 into the 10s on drag radials in South Florida.... Took the right conditions and driver mod!
The C8 being a DCT actually might be easier to replicate. Just need the right conditions.

Runs great for what it has. Its not overpowering anything and can get all 495 hp to the ground. Looks are iffy. It looks like GM brought back a bigger V8 Fiero and time will tell if this design ages well. I like how the GM guys are all about taking it to the european exotics with this platform. Anybody watch the latest Motor Trend greatest drag race where a new C8 Z51 tangles with the new Ferrari F8? Corvette is no threat to Ferrari or Lamborghini. After watching that race, the new C8 Z06 variant better have 750 hp and lose about 300 lbs. For the money though, GM built us a Ferrari wannabe kit car, thats respectable on this side of the pond.
C8 was never meant to compete with Ferrari or Lambo ....and for the price it IS the better car.
