Exactly what I told my wife a short time ago before they had a terrorism expert on the news who said it could be a trial run. Why would they do such a large explosion with nobody around. Makes no sense.
Terrorists won’t do a trial run that would potentially bring attention to themselves. That will cause a heightened sense of security when terrorists want people lulled into a false sense of security.
That and the Paris climate deal, then let’s China **** us some more. Ya know since Covid is Trumps fault. **** Beijing Biden.

It will be interesting to see how fast Biden will turn the Middle East into a powder keg. Soon as he signs back into the Iran deal could be the fuse that starts it.

This is exactly what I said and my guess is FBI operation that possibly went awry and they were trying to minimize casualties. My buddy brought up the point though that the loud speaker was an attempt to get people to come out into the streets where they could be then blown up.

You either believe some disgruntled asshole was lucky enough to place a VBIED at a spot as to knock out 911 communications for hundreds of miles, civilian comms, and ground air traffic or you look at the internet attacks on defense systems and this as related and it makes sense.
Or it could be some lucky jackass that is disgruntled or looking for an insurance payout.

I agree this isn't terrorism. The more I think about it this looks like a "what happens if we hit this kind of location" field test. Christmas day so nobody is working, plenty of warning, very strategic location...

Nope. This was not like that. This appeared to be a strategic surgical strike to take down a communications hub with minimal collateral damage.
And it appears to have been successful but without purpose.
It raises questions.
