Supercharger Budget

Okay, not degrading any superchargers, I know each have their ups and downs. I came up into Terminator when the Kenne Bell was the one to have. I see a lot of Whipple, VMP, Ported Eaton, Kenne Bells. For the buck, will a 2.6 Kenne Bell be the best to have, liquid cooled? Im not looking for 700hp, just between 600 & 650hp.

The best one for the buck will be which one is on sale when you buy it. I think pricing is similar between the blowers. Performance is close between blowers of similar sizes. Really it comes down to which one you like the look of anymore.

Pretty much what yeller said. What fuel? Pretty much any aftermarket blower will get you there. If you're real budget strapped check the market anything in the last gen or two will get to 600-650. Plenty of guys moving up from 2.3 to the newer stuff could catch a deal.

I'll tread lightly with my comment, so as not to induce a blower war thread.

KB is not needed and the liquid cooled is "marketing" good for the snout bearings, runs hot AF everywhere else.

VMP or Whipple, the smaller the better; Ie...2.3L

Lol, catch a deal on used 2.3? Have you looked lately? Nothing but wtb listings. That's a seller's market bud.

Really wish they'd make another batch of cobra tvs 2.3's.

I really like my gen 1 tvs. No plans on swapping for a bigger one either.

I wish they would as well. It would make the dilemma I've been having much easier.
