Hi guys!)
What is the normal/typical time for Whipple tech support to get back with answers.
Sending them a questions, a week later still no replies. Had to give them a call to remind about myself. Then, after the call, they said to do the datalogs. Did them. This week sent a datalogs on Monday , Friday, sent reminder.... still nothing.
Is this typical ?
Thank you)

I had a similar experience with my Whipple when there were issues with the tune. It's a great product but I was not impressed with their customer service.

Well, calling worked last time maybe u should try that again. Bro, they probably get 10,000 emails a day! And u need to get a custom tune remotely at a local dyno if u want ur car to run right. Canned tunes are garbage!

agreed on that. But here in North New Jersey only couple places who can do that. But still that is questionable. How many cars they did, 5-10? in this case I start thinking more and more something like PBD or LUND.
Plus the funniest side, the cost for tune here is the same like big guys charge

Still have the Whipple tune. I have a Boss 302 and the popping of the exhaust when decelerating or shifting gears on their tune was completely annoying. I put in a different plate on the side exhaust which is more restrictive and that helped but still there. Whipple basically said it's normal and to live with it. I have to deal with emissions in Colorado so didn't really want to mess with an aftermarket tune. Although annoying I guess I can live with their answer but the process to get the answer which was weeks of back and forth and data logs with days between responses was the issue and why I wasn't impressed with their customer service. If they get thousands of emails a day they should hire more people to respond to those emails since they charge a premium for their product. Big waste of time in my opinion.

I see. basically that is what happened to me last year. When installed SC, had many questions. At the beginning they helped me, with installation, but then, when I got some drivability issues, seems like they put me on a separate list. lol. Almost impossible to get answers. After waiting a weeks I gave up, put car into garage and didn't even touch her for a 7 month! That is how much I hated her. Lol. (. But this year decided to get back to them. Was hoping they will help me to resolve that issue. Waiting and waiting. Was about to go for another tune, but due to emissions don't want to change anything. Have that experience with a SN95 when due to failing emissions had to sell my car to another state.

Go with Lund or PBD. You’re going to get a better quality tune and faster and more in-depth response. No knock on whipple because I have one too, but they’re not really in the tuning end of their products.
