This thread is full of fail.

FWIW, if you have the draggy app, they have a whole sub-community where you can upload videos of your runs and compare them with others with the same car or mods, etc.
They keep a leaderboard of different models and makes, etc, as well as a video feed to view others results.

For those who cant understand how this can help a driver or how its useful data, ask to see a pull from a manual trans driver and you'll be able to see exactly how slow he shifts and how much time he loses compared to a speed shift or a proper Auto trans shift, etc.
If you are into going fast and can't understand how to correlate a g meter to how your car performs, then you should not be posting in this thread at all.

As for world records....who cares? You'd think he claimed world record for most ballin' SVTP'er on the planet the way everyone is reacting. Damn.

Honestly didn’t think this post would cause so much hurt on here lol . But I like it lol keep it going I mainly use it to see mod gains via weight reduction or bolt on parts . I’ll have to post part two world record here soon .

I don't blame them. Last I checked Dragy wasn't the end all be all. I've never heard anyone claiming WR times because of a time on a Dragy.
How else do you propose he record a 60-130 time? Other than a pbox, what’s another reliable method? I could understand if he claimed a wr 1/4 mile time without going to a dragstrip. But geez, you guys are ruthless. Especially given the fact that a lot of you haven’t even heard of that metric. Ruthless. Lol

I just don’t think that claiming a world record from an app that isn’t widely used in the racing community was a great way to portray what the car may be capable of.
I understand you guys that do use it may swear by it, but 9 times out of 10 people who are into analyzing performance of cars are going to use proven race track numbers.

You would be surprised how popular this gps device is. It is the most used device at the moment even over a vbox

stop lying you knew good and well what kind of shit storm this was gonna cause. This aint LS1Tech with Hio claiming the 10spd auto is a power adder.

How do you know that though? You know every ATSV owner in the WORLD? That is remarkable.

Ok Boomer. The internet has connected everyone to everyone. I can find any S550 owner I want to compare notes to

Only on this site it seems. The worst part about being a mustang fan sometimes is it’s fanbase. No other site that I frequent is this way. At times, you can get more assholes in here than in a proctologist’s waiting room.

it’s funny to because there are a ton of Facebook mustang sites that use this device not a single complaint from them at all .

He did 3.8, xona xr1000’s, id1700’s, and fuel system.he made 930/800 awhp/awtq before his new exhaust. I have 63.5’s, e85, 3.8, id1300’s. I don’t have the fuel system or xonas. Made 773/803 awhp/awtq. I replaced rods and did 3.8 with the idea of maybe doing the xonas later. Not sure until he gets his back and we can do some direct comparisons on street and track. I didn’t get to do a single event this year. Something about a pandemic...lol

Wow, you guys have a pair of really nice cars!! In addition to your ZR1 :) I just texted with by brother on his 997. He said he believes he has seen you posting on Rennlist, but obviously is not sure. He confirmed the 3.8 with Xona turbos. It's his daily driver and he has only driven it on 91 (he runs 91 and meth) so far... He has a draggy and vbox, and his 60-130 times are in the 5.6 range. He said his 60-100 is 2.52 and 100-130 is 2.76, so he'd be faster if he had the pdk. He is running wider than stock tires on very light wheels. Apparently he would knock off .33 seconds going back to his stock tires (he's timed both). He hasn't driven it yet on e85, but thinks his times will be in the high 4s. It ran out of gas on e85 and he didn't want to do a fuel system because he thought he'd break the trans, etc. above this.

I think the main gripe people are saying is the app isn’t a calibrated and verified measurement like a track where you would get something like that from(1/2 I’d guess) and I’d agree, usually the draggy app is a little off. It’s a good tool but I wouldn’t claim world records from it.

I really don't get the angst in this thread. The thread title literally says it is a Draggy world record. So of course a Draggy is going to be the tool used to record the data. smh

those are great times and right on par with mine on e85 with the 63.5’s. It’s amazing what e85 can do. If he can get fuel and max out e85, that car will be nuts. My brother is right at the threshold now as far as the transmission goes. 1000awhp. Apparently those xonas are badass. Lol
