We will be starting on our in ground pool next month. We hired a local company to do it. 16x38 rectangular pool. No permits needed, as we are in the county.

$64k installed price.

We priced out 3 different companies, this one came in middle of the price range. Highest one was $72k.

Includes 5" concrete decking all the way around, 6" depth on one end, LED lighting, pool heater, pool cleaner, 3 waterfalls.

Pool prices and demand have gone up dramatically with Covid. Some companies that had 1 month wait to install are now at 1 year wait. It's crazy

Holy cow! No way I can afford that. Sounds awesome though!

FWIW, our boat is 21.5" long. That extends to about 25' when measuring from the tongue to outdrive. The front of my trailer swings out of the way, but as you can see when adding in the trailer things get long quick. (That's what she said)

Yeah great point. Our current boat is 18.5’ but won’t fit in a 24x24 without collapsing the trailer tongue.

Based on their reputation and their support for the community, I'm looking first at Mueller for an additional shop/hangar.

Regardless of the manufacturer, I recommend getting it insulated on day 1, if it's not included. I regret not insulated our 30 by 30 before moving all of my junk in it.

Awesome! I’ll look in Mueller. Are they National? Yes I’d like to get it insulated if it doesn’t cost that much. If I do a metal building I’ll probably NOT do wall covering on the inside so I guess the only option is sprayed in foam insolation?

Not sure if Mueller is national, but they do have awesome 3-D building designer you can use to tinker around with ideas.

Some of that spray foam is flammable. Keep that in mind if you weld, etc.. Some manufacturers install insulation during construction. It's covered in white plastic. Looks nice. No sure on the R value.

We looked into having a pool put in earlier this year. Soonest we could get on the books with the main show in town was 2023 and they needed 40k deposit for the 82k total cost up front. Needless to say we passed.

A friend of mine who is a contractor put in Pool Warehouse kit and it looks and functions great. I will likely go that route if we decide to pull the trigger on a pool in the future
