Barely a paper cut in the grand scheme of WW2.

If it was so insignificant why is it still remembered 80 yrs later.

Go stand on the deck of the USS Missouri and refer to the battle as a paper cut and I expect you wouldn’t make it off the ship.

One of these days I’ll make it PH. Have flown into Honolulu as a stop then to Maui, but didn’t have time to run to PH. Next time will plan to stay in Honolulu for a couple days.

Rest In Peace brave souls.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to visit Pearl Harbor, the Arizona and Missouri on March 14, 2008. It was kind of surreal standing on the Memorial over the ship with oil still emanating from within her with the knowledge that 1.177 men had given their lives there, many of whom still ly entombed beneath. That said, it was an honor to be able to pay our respects and reflect on the sacrifices made by those men as well as the many others who have also made the ultimate sacrifice fighting to ensure the land of the Free and home of the Brave would endure and persevere. It was a day I will never forget. God Rest Their Souls.

Propaganda.

Go read about the US actions leading up to the war and you won't see some shocking surprise attack but the piss poor planning, incompetence and crooked politics.

So pretty much par for the course. Do you have some links to this? I honestly haven't heard this side before.

RIP to all those men, women, and children that were part of that tragedy.
