The Audi RS3 doesn't have a sequential transmission. Its a dual Clutch and can be launched as hard as anyone wants.

Who said RS3 has segueantial trans ? Ive been around that platform since it came out so I know what they have and they can do. The whole time we are talking about the segueantial in the Mustang . I simply haven't seen a car launching hard with segueantial trans

It was assumed I guess IDN. And plenty of 6 second Pro Stock cars using Liberty Sequential gear boxes so IDN where the Sequential gear boxes cant be drag raced came from.

In fact, my buddy has one in his 93 Mustang GT with twins making 2000 hp and he has gone low 7's with it. He owns JW racing in Seymour CT.

U dont need a 1000+hp to utilize launch control on a Dual Clutch bro! Plenty of Golf R's go high 10's at 125-127 mph. Maybe thats not fast to u but thats a quick DD.

I guess uve never heard of the Porsche 911, Nissan GTR, BMW M3. They all can make well over a 1000 hp when built properly and they are all DSG that have launch control. U seem to be clueless about DSG transmissions.

lol ok bro, I just properly assumed your golf r didn’t have 1000hp+ which you proudly said you always launch it hard. My S5 has a DSG, so I’m kinda familiar with them, but my S5 also doesn’t have 1000hp+ so I won’t go boasting that I always launch it hard, because well, it sounds dumb when we’re talking about cars with well over 1000hp which we’ve already come to the conclusion that DSG’s can be launched hard, just looks silly to compare your golf r to these cars, and as said, it was originally stated that sequential trans can’t be launched hard so......

A good friend of mine is the tuner for Hanks RS3 (Iroz). They did pretty well overall considering Ken and his Motec engineer/tuner had somewhere around 100 runs of data on that road. Nick and Hank showed up and learned it pass by pass and started adding more power to it as the day went on. That 4th pass was more indicative of what the RS3 could do, and they still had a little spice in it to go from what Nick was saying. Thing that kept kicking their ass too was the DSG launch-delay, not great for heads-up/arm drop stuff; Ken would be out a good car or so out of the hole almost every time. Either way, super cool race/opportunity and series!

Well I guess the 6 second Pro Stock guys weren't aware that a Liberty Sequential transmissions doesn't work at the drag strip. I bet they're gonna be really disappointed.....

Thanx for clearing that up for everyone.

lol dude I’m not the one that said sequential trans don’t work in drag applications, that was gofast15, as seen below. I just pointed out that you look like a bafoon throwing your dick around boasting about launching your golf r hard in a conversation about two cars that have well over 1000hp

I think it would be a good race on a prepped track but I don't think car with sequential trans can be launched hard .

Thanks for this! I was wondering why Ken was getting the hole shot EVERY time. That makes more sense.

That was a fun/great video to watch. A lot of laughs, jokes and a good time on both sides. The Hoonicorn stomped the Audi in that run. I honestly expected the RS3 to launch quicker/harder and hold the lead. Sounded like traction loss on Run#2, and Run #3 was like watching Race #1 again. Both cars are wicked!

Has anyone kept up with this series? It really seems like they are just sandbagging for the views. They had 1 car since making over 1000hp. very disappointing
