So I came across this posing and wanted to get your thoughts/reaction to it. If they can sell it for anything close to the asking price.... WOW!! I hope they can get it but I just don't see this car bringing that kind of money. Best offer OVER 1.2 Millon!!!!

This is a clone car, not a real R. It has the distinction of a great race pedigree and the Triple Crown in 2002.

If he gets even half of it the Zippo car is FOR SALE!!!

I'd give em $15k if he throws in a trailer.

Literally no one cares about any of the stuff he said. It's neat but too niche to matter, especially if it's not a real R.

Partial trade for a Ford gt.... yeah this guy has lost it. I really want to know where the 1.2 mil comes from. I see nothing you can't go out and do to your own sn95.

This was just a “body in white”... Not a 95r. It’s a great 25-30k well sorted race car.

The owner definitely hit the crack pipe pretty damn hard if he thinks he’s going to get a 7 digit price. He’s had this car listed for years and he is still the owner.

You are buying the triple crown for the money. Otherwise, it is a 95 track car. Car my have a VIN or be a body in white. Not that it would matter.

I just don't think that in this day and age no one really cares that it won some races 20 years ago. Most people will not even know what kind of racing that even is. I would be pretty shocked if it sold for any type of big time money. Probably be a case where the seller will hold onto it until he dies because he won't get what he wants.

The greatest draw for a potential buyer would be to use this car in vintage racing, which it is eligible for. That is a growing area of motor sports. When you are looking at a $100K+ GT350 or other type of 60s race car, these 90s era old race cars suddenly become very financially attractive.

I also think the history of the car is very important to the real collector value.

The dudes that bought the old "Bullitt" car and the flying GT350 will agree. They both made a million dollars profit.

Yes, the history of the car will win in the long term. No doubt.

Lmao.

I have an old 98 Bondurant Cobra that's been a race car all it's life.

First person to offer me 1/20th of this cars asking price, I'll bring it to them anywhere in the 48, and leave them with the truck and trailer and fly back home.
