If there is another,I would like to see an all aluminum body for light weight. The motor would be a brand new 351 with 875hp,32 valve.A 6speed manual, and a DCT.The best handling package that FORD can come up with, carbon fiber wheels, with a 325 in the back. Then do a limited run of the KR!!!1000hp twin turbo 427!

In the 427R
It’ll never happen. They would’ve used the ecoboost in the 2020 GT500 if they could get away with it.
What do I want? A Manual option. 2020 is fine performance wise, just needs a manual, and be a bit little lighter.
I wouldn’t mind a 13/14 with a Predator swap, or better yet a 07-09 with a Predator swap. And the brakes off the 2020.

Pick your poison.

SRA back in the GT500 along with some more carbon fiber pieces for weight savings. A 6 speed option would be revered.

edit: forgot to add “glass roof option”.

Mid engine twin turbo six with an outer shell that looks like a C8 but adds one more exhaust outlet each side at the back.

I would like to see a 3500-3600 lbs car with a twin turbo 5.2L, needs to make 850 hp to compete with the other manufacturers. Add the 10 speed auto as the standard transmission. The DCT and a manual transmission would be optional.

An SRA and a glass roof? Doesn't make much sense to me. At the speeds you'll be going to actually need a SRA a glass roof would be irrelevant.

I wouldn't trade the IRS considering they hold up fine these days.

and a painter stripe doesn’t make much sense to me. Everyone’s got a opinion. So why not add some options. If the glass roof came back you’d have people lined up. A lot of the ISO are searching for glass roof options lease for older s197s. There be a market for the s550 I’d assume too especially considering some owners are choosing to paint their roof black, it’s not like just the glass roof but the look of the roof too.

Not everyone who buying GT500 or even mustang are racing Mexico. Sometimes it’s not about the ride but about the journey to get there. People wanna ride and enjoy too vs how fast it get from point a to point b.

solid rear axel is always going to be superior to irs for straight line applications plus it’s the rawness and classic muscle a lot enthusiast seek. The IRS refined it for the goods and bad.

I have no issue with a glass roof option, it just doesn't totally make sense to want both. Demon has an IRS, people run 8's with IRS in corvettes so unless you are completely gutting the car and doing max effort an SRA is going to be a downgrade in every way but to each his own I suppose.

Maybe some sort of special option package the double diamond ticket option that will take four car dealers, five Rhodes scholars, five threads and 450 post to interpret.

what’s the issue having glass roof & SRA? Didn’t FCA investigate some Dodge Demon differential failures at drag strip. I’m asking, I had heard of issues, never heard an outcome. I don’t have issues with IRS, truth be told wish my 07 gt500 had it honestly ;)

From what i read, the 2005 mustang was suppose to have an IRS,but a fool pulled the plug on it.
